Modi’s win in the Assembly elections and Slaying of Afzal Khan

When Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj slew the arrogant and cruel Afzal Khan at Pratapgad in 1656 what followed was the fall of the Mughals in 1720. These events were spaced apart by 6 decades as the challenges then were different. But there is an important and prophetic message from these events for India today viz that the defeat of the provencial power of  the Muslim Adilshahis led to the decline and defeat of the Delhi based Muslim Mughal rulers at the hands of the Hindu Marathas.

Similarly today we shall see the defeat of the pseudo- secular pro-Muslim Congress at the provincial elections to be a precursor of the far more stunning and comprehensive defeat at the ensuing general elections in 2014. The victory bugle has been sounded in Rajasthan Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh today. The saffron flag will be hoisted on the Red Fort at Delhi in May 2014.

Modi is today what Shivaji Maharaj was in 1656 and Modi will also be the Shrimant Peshwa Baji Rao who subdued the Mughals ruling Delhi in 1720. The only difference now will be that it will be the Congressi Mughals who will be dethroned and that too by the same Narendra Modi led BJP which has sounded the victory bugle today.
